Qualifications (Required) :
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
- Active state Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license, Enrolled Agent, or firm recognized equivalent required.
- Must have a working knowledge of GAAP
- 5+ years of public accounting or equivalent experience
Qualifications (Preferred) :
Strong analytical skillsMotivation to perform well independentlyFamiliarity with working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environmentUnderstanding of how to handle various client relationshipsProficiency with Microsoft Office SuiteExperience drafting and reviewing financial statements and internal controlsResponsibilities :
Communicate with clients to understand business operations, identify risk areas, and provide recommendations to improve internal controls and accounting practicesReview and analyze financial statements to ensure compliance with GAAP and other applicable accounting standardsEnsure compliance with applicable regulations such as the Sarbanes-Oxley Act, PCAOB (Public Company Accounting Oversight Board), and SEC (Securities and Exchange Commission)Manage audit engagements including planning, executing, and completing assignments within the agreed timelines and budgetLead teams to deliver quality auditsSalary and Benefits :
