Procurement Contracting Counsel

📍 Hybrid / Global Scope

Join a high-impact legal team driving procurement excellence worldwide. We’re seeking a dynamic Procurement Counsel to build and lead a global team supporting complex, high-value sourcing initiatives. This is a rare opportunity to shape strategy, drive innovation, and partner directly with senior leadership across Legal and Procurement.

Interested candidates should have extensive procurement contracts experience negotiating, drafting, reviewing and complete experience with contract cycles. Candidates who have this experience and would like to be considered immediately should reach out to Kevin Ross at Robert Half in Philadelphia.

Responsibilities :

  • Build and lead a global procurement contracting team (3–6 professionals).
  • Partner with Legal and Procurement leadership to develop and execute contracting strategies.
  • Negotiate, draft, and close complex, high-value buy-side agreements under tight timelines.
  • Deliver practical, business-minded legal advice that balances risk and results.
  • Improve processes, templates, and playbooks to accelerate deal cycles.
  • Manage supplier disputes and claims, partnering with internal / external counsel.

What You Bring :

  • J.D. and license to practice law in the U.S.
  • 5+ years of experience in a multinational corporation or law firm.
  • Strong background in procurement or complex commercial transactions.
  • Proven leadership experience building or managing legal teams.
  • Exceptional negotiation, drafting, and communication skills.
  • Business-savvy mindset with the ability to influence across functions.
