Millwright
The role of a Millwright involves both preventative and reactive maintenance tasks. This position requires proficiency in welding (MIG, STICK, and TIG) for various projects, performing lockout / tag-out procedures, fabricating parts as needed, and installing and troubleshooting machinery. Successful candidates will troubleshoot and repair conveyors, agitators, gear boxes, motors, paper recycling machines, valves, pumps, switch gears, clutches, jackshafts, rolls, and splicing equipment. Additionally, they will work with both hydraulic and pneumatic machinery and install bearings and seals on machinery, while adhering to all company and OSHA standards.

Work Environment :
Candidates will work inside the mill on the manufacturing floor. The environment can be dirty and experiences temperature fluctuations, getting hot in the summer and cooling down in the winter. Initially, candidates will work day shifts from 7 am to 3 pm, with the potential to transition to a DUPONT schedule after a year.

Pay and Benefits :
The pay range for this position is $60923.20 - $76960.00 / yr. Benefits and Insurance are offered through Alsip Mini Mill as a full time placement.
Workplace Type :
This is a fully onsite position in Alsip,IL.
