Duties : Welcomes clients and visitors by greeting them, in person or on the telephone; transferring calls; answering or referring inquiries.
Helps potential clients by screening type of inquiry; transferring call to legal assistant.
Maintains reception areas by straightening up; requesting help for potential security issues; telephone equipment.
Keeps telephone equipment operating by following operating instructions; calling for repairs.
Updates appointment and location schedules by inputting data.
Supports attorneys by following-up on "no show" appointments; preparing files for new clients.
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
Accomplishes law firm mission by completing related results as needed.
