Brand Development Representative

The primary responsibility of a Brand Development Representative is to strategically plan, organize and execute local events and brand promotions, helping to increase brand knowledge and gain / grow the distribution of United's priority brands. Brand Development Representatives serve as a marketing arm for United's sales teams as well as our suppliers, promoting in both the on and off-premise accounts.
Qualifications
Must be 21 years or older
Bachelor's degree or Associate's degree from an accredited college or university
Valid driver's license for applicable state
Able to secure and maintain auto-liability insurance in accordance with state laws
Ability to secure and maintain a State Alcohol Sales Permit in accordance with state laws
Sales experience in the food and drug industry preferred
Restaurant / Bar / industry experience preferred
Extensive knowledge of products
Responsibilities
- Attend Brand Development meetings and sales division meetings
- Attend brand kick-offs and special events
- Help gain and grow distribution of United priority brands for beer, wine, and spirits
- Prepare and execute off and on premise promotions
- Assist with product delivery, set up and execution of festivals / events for United and its suppliers
- Work collaboratively with all suppliers and sales teams in planning and executing promotions
- Execute an average of 7-10 promotions / events per week
- Visit numerous accounts per day, presenting and scheduling promotions
- Secure price features in accounts for promotions
- Check inventory levels of products to prepare for promotions
- Merchandise and decorate accounts with appropriately branded POS
- Schedule and execute product brand training for accounts bar and wait-staff
- Meet, schedule, and train spokesmodels on brand knowledge, recipes, program details, price features, etc.
- Execute and provide all necessary promotion recaps and photos in a timely and accurate manner
- Recap brand promos with surveys using United software
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Drive to all call points
- Work is a combination of days, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
