Scientific Manager
Within The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center lies the Therapeutics Discovery Division (TDD), a powerful engine driving the future of new targeted, immune- and cell-based therapies. Therapeutics Discovery eliminates the bottlenecks that hamper traditional drug discovery by employing a multidisciplinary team of dedicated researchers, doctors, drug developers, and scientific experts working together to develop small-molecule drugs, biologics, and cellular therapies. Our unique structure and collaborative approach allow the team to work with agility, bringing novel medicines from concept to clinic quickly and efficiently all under the same roof.
We are seeking a motivated and experienced individual to fill a key scientific management position within the Therapeutics Discovery Division (TDD). This role is responsible for the strategic development, coordination, and oversight of both new and existing research programs. The Scientific Manager will lead cross-functional programmatic efforts across departments, divisions, and external collaboratorsincluding academic institutions, industry partners, and other organizationsto drive forward innovative and high-impact therapeutic initiatives.

Preferred : PhD
Experience :
Required : Six years in biotechnology / pharmaceutical / academic research or clinical research setting to include three years research program / project management experience.
Preferred : Four years in biotechnology / pharmaceutical / academic research or clinical research setting to include one year of research program / project management experience with a preferred degree.
