Overview

The Database Engineering team is looking for a Senior Platform Engineer to drive our customer experience strategy forward by consistently innovating and problem-solving. The ideal candidate is passionate about the customer experience journey, highly motivated, intellectually curious, analytical, and possesses an entrepreneurial mindset.

Role Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement Azure-based database solutions
• Optimize database performance, scalability, and reliability
• Implement and manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies
• Monitor and troubleshoot database issues, ensuring high availability and data integrity
• Automate database deployments and updates using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Bicep
• Collaborate with development teams to support data modelling, schema design, and query optimization
• Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and privacy standards
• Maintain documentation and provide knowledge sharing across teams
