Warehouse Specialist
Warehouse Specialist performs a variety of warehousing duties that require an understanding of the establishment's storage plan. Work involves most of the following : verifying materials (or merchandise) against receiving documents, noting and reporting discrepancies and obvious damages, routing materials to prescribed storage locations; storing, stacking, or palletizing materials in accordance with prescribed storage methods, rearranging and taking inventory of stored materials, examining stored materials and reporting deterioration and damage, removing material from storage and preparing it for shipment.
This worker may operate hand or power trucks in performing warehousing duties. Responsible for oversight of the life cycle of products, including preparation, shipping and receiving. Offers support with the maintenance of logistics policies, administer and maintain inventory control program systems and coordinate with team to promote accurate and timely processing of orders for customers. Establish and maintain maximum and minimum consumables inventory levels. Provides assistance for maintaining logistics planning tasks. Scan orders into computer and track shipments across multiple channels.
This job has no supervisory responsibilities. This position has the responsibility and authority to carry out assigned tasks.
