Responsibilities

• Implement / Support various automated controls technologies including PLC systems, control and communication networks, SCADA (server and standalone) systems, PC based integration software systems, VFD and servo drives, robotics, vision systems, program and parameter-based instrumentation and other advanced sensor technologies.
• Design power distribution systems and verify correct implementation for power generation, transmission, and utilization, including troubleshooting any issues that arise.
• Partner with plant technicians, engineers and equipment vendors to deliver control systems upgrades that provide optimal equipment operation to produce quality products at the lowest cost while maintaining the safety of people who interact with equipment. Own the project from concept through technician training and startup.
• Proactively seek out losses and improvement opportunities throughout the manufacturing plants.
• Follow and leverage the proper engineering and project management tools and work processes.
• Develops deep mastery in selected areas of technology.
