As a Fairfield County Court IT Manager, you will be responsible for providing technical support, managing existing technology platforms, and IT inventory to the Clerk of Courts and County Courts. You will work closely with judges, attorneys, and other court officials to ensure that technology is seamlessly integrated into the daily operations. Responsibilities
Research and manage Case Management Systems
Research and manage both software and hardware needsResearch and manage HOJ audio visual / court recording equipmentWork with WebChick on website changes and updatesCreate and update internal and external forms as needed, fileable PDFs, etc.Create auto-generated templates for quick use by staffCase Management Systems- CourtView / Tyler Technologies [20%]Serve as the onsite controller; sole liaison with vendors
Prep, develop, test, and implement e-filing for Probate / Juvenile, Common Pleas, DRSet up and terminate access for usersProgramming changes into CMS and creating reportsAttend training classes with CMS vendorsLook at replacement systems; which could better meet the needs of the court.If replacement system should ever come into place; this position would be the person responsible for complete conversionSoftware needs [15%]Review all new and ongoing software agreements as submitted

Minimum Qualifications :
Bachelor\'s degree.Two (2) years\' experience that includes IT helpdesk experience and system management software / tools experience.Preferred Qualifications :
Experience with VMware View / Horizon, virtual desktops.Experience with Windows 10 Desktop Management and Group Policy.Experience with Microsoft Office 365.Experience with Crystal Reports.Experience with Microsoft SQL.Experience with FileMaker or other database software.Supplemental Information
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required to Perform Essential Job Functions :
This person will work with county IT to provide any technical support needed by the staff of the Clerk of Courts, Common Pleas Court- general and domestic relations division, and Juvenile / Probate Court.Gain an understanding of the different IT services and business processes at the Courts and Clerk of Courts.Support end users by identifying and resolving issues, evaluating, and implementing solutions.Manage existing technology platforms, inventory, and replacement planning / strategy.Support customers with access and data issues.Develop online solutions that transform the way services are managed and delivered.Provide technical support and guidance to users, creating documentation and self-help resources as needed.Manages, maintains, and provides technical support required by the staff, for the case management systems (CourtView and Tyler Technologies; Justice and Supervision) and integration with various other systems including, but not limited to the Ohio Courts Network (OCN), Ohio Law Enforcement Gateway (OHLEG), Ohio\'s Law Enforcement Automated Data System (LEADS) new e-Warrants system and the new Ohio Community Supervision System (OCSS).Interacts with external vendors, monitoring, installing, and / or updating software.Provides support, training, and guidance to end users.Participates in conducting user needs assessments; makes recommendations.Assists with troubleshooting and maintenance of Courtroom Audio / Video Technology.Works with county IT to ensure that wireless connections are provided and working in Court designated areas.Troubleshoots wired and wireless networking connections when needed.Maintains effective lines of communication with all staff and stakeholders.Fosters an inclusive and culturally competent work environment.Promotes and adheres to policies and procedures.Contributes to a strong supportive and productive team environment.Ability to very moderate physical effort in involving lifting, carrying, pushing and / or pulling objects and materials of moderate weight (12-50 pounds). Tasks may involve some stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling or prolonged standing in light work.Performs other related duties as required.The aforementioned duties are normal for this position.
