This role offers the opportunity to drive proactive safety culture initiatives, optimize risk mitigation strategies, and lead on-the-ground compliance activities at some of the most critical infrastructure sites in the country. As the champion for environmental health and safety excellence, you will be instrumental in protecting people and operations while fostering long-term cultural transformation. This is an onsite role with regional travel between project sites.

Key Responsibilities :
Safety Culture Development & Training
Lead and facilitate new hire safety orientations, hazard recognition sessions, and regular safety meetings tailored to field teams.Champion day-to-day EHS awareness by providing accessible education materials, coordinating drills, and driving a culture of empowerment around safety ownership.Mentor and coach EHS site coordinators, ensuring alignment with field safety documentation, reporting standards, and field leadership expectations.Compliance & Standards Execution
Oversee implementation of site-level safety protocols that meet or exceed OSHA, MSHA, and internal best practices.Conduct recurring safety audits and inspections across field sites, documenting findings and leading swift corrective action processes.Own compliance tracking and safety documentation through EHS systems, ensuring clear recordkeeping and continuous improvement.Incident Management & Corrective Action
Lead root cause investigations and closeout of safety incidents, ensuring timely reporting and corrective action follow-through.Collaborate closely with operations management on safety analytics and risk trends, turning data into actionable insights.Maintain strong communication with external occupational medicine partners and regulatory bodies when needed.Field Collaboration & Partnership
Act as a visible EHS leader on job sites, building trust with field crews and operational leads alike.Support operations teams in planning work with safety as a foundational element rather than an afterthought.Align site EHS strategies with client expectations and ensure collaborative progress on shared safety goals.Continuous Improvement & Strategic Support
Evaluate safety metrics and trends to proactively identify areas for enhancement.Partner with regional EHS and project leaders to deploy new tools, programs, or approaches that elevate safety culture.Stay on top of emerging field safety practices, technology, and training methods.What You Bring :
5+ years in construction or industrial safety roles, ideally with regional or multi-site leadership responsibilities.Working knowledge of OSHA, MSHA, and industrial safety standards.Proficiency with hazard analysis tools, incident investigation methods, and root cause corrective action development.Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a hands-on leadership approach.CHST certification (or ability to earn within 12 months).MSHA certification or prior experience preferred.Familiarity with safety platforms (KPA or similar) for digital reporting and analytics.Ability to travel between regional job sites and thrive in a fast-paced field environment.About Blue Signal :
