Department / Unit Summary

The Emergency Department at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital fosters a culture of teamwork and effective communication, essential for providing specialized care to critically ill patients. With 22 beds and a 7-bay fast track unit operating within a trauma II hospital setting, we ensure patients receive optimal medical attention and support. Our ED is recognized company-wide as a consistent top performer, and we welcome many area college and physician resident students into our department.
