Contracts Manager

HII Mission Technologies is currently seeking a Contracts Manager to join our team and work onsite in Springfield, VA. This role will support the contract administration and business growth of the Warfare Systems (WS) Business Group. The ideal candidate is a strategic problem solver with demonstrated expertise in contracts management and cost proposal development. This position reports directly to the WS Contracts Director, and will support all aspects of contract administration for the Business Group. What You Will Do :

• Serve as a contractual business advisor and subject matter expert to line management and functional management regarding contractual and proposal issues.
• Ensure compliance with all contractual obligations.
• Ensure that contracts, proposals, and work products comply with HII and HI MTC policies and Contracts Department processes, and are of high quality.
• Negotiate the terms of contract documents.
• Support proposal development by analyzing requests for proposal to determine the contractual requirements needed to deliver a compliant, responsive, and winning proposal.
• Become a skilled user of Unison Contract Lifecycle Management software.
• Effectively communicate within the team, the company, and with customers.
• Other duties as assigned.
