CNC Machinist / Operator

We are seeking a CNC Machinist / Operator in Rochester, NY to join our team.

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our dynamic manufacturing team.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and experience with CNC machinery, ensuring precision and quality in the production of components.

This role requires attention to detail, the ability to read technical drawings, and proficiency in operating various CNC machines.

Duties Set up and operate CNC machines, including Fanuc and Mazatrol systems, to produce high-quality parts according to specifications.

Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers, bore gauges, and coordinate measuring machines to ensure accuracy in production.

Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment and troubleshoot any operational issues that may arise.

Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine machining processes and tooling requirements.

Select appropriate tooling and fixtures for each job based on specifications.

Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols.

Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and timelines.

Qualifications Proven experience as a CNC Machinist or similar role in a manufacturing environment.

Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate power tools and machinery safely.

Familiarity with precision measuring instruments, including bore gauges and calipers.

Experience with CNC programming languages such as Fanuc or Mazatrol is preferred.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately.

Forklift certification is a plus but not required.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
