Job Summary :
- This position will have a general understanding on how to Coordinate with Customer Service, Engineering, and Operations with the creation of new part numbers, BOMs, and routings.
- Administer the bill of materials database, including the maintenance of part numbers.
- Along with preserving the integrity of the parts list by preventing the entry of duplicated parts into the ERP system.
Major Job Responsibilities :
Handles data entry for machine assembly and piece part work orders, creates piece part and assembly bill of materials as neededSets up new item master recordsTroubleshoots inventory discrepancies related to inaccurate bill of materialsExamines documents, materials, or products, accuracy, and conformance to standards and specificationsConfers with department supervisors or other personnel to assess progress and discuss needed changesHandles other daily tasks that occur with the business Education and Experience Requirements : A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is required. Must be able to communicate effectively, in written and spoken form, with excellent interpersonal relationship skills A minimum of two (2) years of experience in a materials department environment with an emphasis on bill of materials, work order, and inventory is required.
