Workers’ Advocate Law Group PC is a high-performance plaintiff-side employment law trial firm with offices in Hudson Yards (NYC) and Manhattan Beach (CA). We represent employees in wrongful-termination, discrimination, retaliation, and severance negotiation cases in both New York and California. We maintain a precise, trial-ready practice where every filing matters.
We are hiring a Senior Employment Litigation Paralegal to manage single-plaintiff employment cases from intake through judgment. You’ll draft, finalize, and file motions, oppositions, declarations, and discovery documents across multiple jurisdictions, keeping every case procedurally airtight.
Key Responsibilities
Draft, proof, and complete filings : pleadings, motions, declarations, proposed orders, and exhibits.
File through NYSCEF (New York State Courts), PACER / ECF (Federal), and (California State Courts).
Track and enforce all litigation deadlines, hearings, discovery cut-offs, and trial dates.
Prepare discovery responses, subpoenas, document productions, and privilege logs.
Organize deposition summaries, trial binders, and exhibit indices.
Coordinate directly with court clerks, process servers, and vendors.
Maintain daily in-office control of filings, mail service, and litigation flow at 66 Hudson Yards.
Required Qualifications
5–10 years of litigation paralegal experience, with 3+ years focused on employment law.
Demonstrated ability to draft and complete filings start-to-finish under NY and / or CA procedural rules.
Expertise in motion practice, discovery, and trial support for employment claims under FEHA, NYCHRL, FLSA, and Labor Code.
Proficiency with Microsoft Word (advanced formatting), Adobe Acrobat, Excel, Westlaw, and Lawcus or similar case-management systems.
Paralegal certificate or bachelor’s degree required.
Must work onsite 4 days per week at Hudson Yards and thrive in a fast-paced, precision-driven trial environment.
