Our client is seeking a Corporate Attorney with a minimum of 1 year of significant transactional experience to join their Rochester or Buffalo office. The ideal candidate will have meaningful experience in mergers and acquisitions as well as general corporate matters.

Key Responsibilities :

Represent clients in mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions.

Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other corporate documents.

Advise clients on general corporate governance matters.

Manage transactional processes from due diligence through closing.

Collaborate with other attorneys and practice groups to provide comprehensive legal support.

Qualifications :

Minimum of 1 year of relevant corporate / transactional experience, preferably at a law firm.

Demonstrated experience in mergers and acquisitions.

Excellent drafting and negotiation skills.

Strong academic credentials.

Licensed to practice law in New York or eligible for admission.

Compensation :

Estimated annual base salary range : $118,000 – $140,000 .

Actual base salary will be commensurate with experience, qualifications, and skill level.
