We are seeking a motivated, punctual, and outgoing Orthodontic Dental Biller and Coder to join our team! Key responsibilities include :

• Accurately prepare and submit insurance claims, including working with state-sponsored insurance programs.
• Ensure billing codes are correct and compliant with regulations to minimize claim rejections.
• Present financial plans and address patient concerns effectively.
• Ensure a positive patient experience and efficient office operations.
• Follow the orthodontist's instructions regarding billing procedures.
• Make welcome calls to new patients, answer questions, and set expectations for treatment financing.
• Follow up on outstanding claims to ensure timely payments and resolve issues.
• Assist patients with billing inquiries, providing clear information about coverage and costs.
• Explain treatment plans and out-of-pocket costs to patients as needed.
• Communicate financial options effectively, including payment plans like Care Credit.
• Maintain current records of all billing activities, ensuring compliance.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless billing processes.
• Assist in collecting previous balances and copays.
• Stay updated on insurance regulations, billing practices, and coding standards.
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
