🚨 We're Hiring! 🚨

A well-established Intellectual Property Law Firm in Chicago is expanding its team due to increased activity in the patent prosecution department!

We're looking for a Legal Assistant to support a Legal Secretary and Attorney in a newly created role.

📍 Location : Chicago, IL (Hybrid – 3 days onsite, Wednesday is anchor day)

💼 Type : Full-time, Permanent with benefits

💰 Salary : $48,000–$52,000 (let's talk if you're looking for higher salary)

🕘 Schedule : 9 AM – 5 PM, Monday–Friday

📅 Start Date : ASAP

🔍 What You'll Do :

  • Draft, proofread, and file / send legal documents
  • Maintain calendars, schedule appointments, and compile documentation
  • Create and manage case files and transcripts
  • Communicate with clients via phone, email, and in person
  • Screen and prioritize calls and emails
  • Conduct legal and background research as needed

✅ What We're Looking For :

  • 1–2 years of legal experience
  • Basic proficiency in MS Office; ProLaw is a plus
  • Degree preferred, or 2+ years of relevant experience without a degree
  • Professional, detail-oriented, and eager to learn
  • Comfortable in a quiet, focused team environment
