Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Packaging Supervisor to join our team at our offsite facility located in Pelzer, SC, 29483. In this role, you will play a crucial part in overseeing our packaging operations, ensuring that products are packaged efficiently and meet our quality standards. Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily packaging operations to ensure efficiency and quality.
  • Lead and mentor a team of packaging associates, providing training and support.
  • Monitor production schedules and adjust workflows to meet deadlines.
  • Conduct regular inspections of packaging processes and equipment to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with other departments to optimize packaging materials and processes.
  • Maintain accurate records of production output and packaging inventory.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
  • Address and resolve any packaging-related issues that arise during production.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in a related field is a plus.
  • Proven experience in a packaging.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with packaging machinery and quality control processes.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime as needed.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
