L&D RNs monitor baby's heart rate and provide immediate care to the newborn. L&D RN job responsibilities include, but are not limited to : \n
• L&D RNs perform knowledge of phlebotomy, basic IV and central lines\n
• Assess and record maternal vital signs throughout labor and post-partum stages\n
• Administer pain medication and other medicines as ordered\n
