Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist proficient in neuro and body IR procedures with at least 2 years of experience.
Responsibilities
Work in a Level 1 Trauma and Stroke Center within the Interventional Radiology departmentPerform both neuro and body IR procedures using single and biplane Siemens radiography unitsCare provided to adult, geriatric, and pediatric patients with a wide range of acuity levelsOutpatient and inpatient procedural settingShift is Wednesday through Saturday, 4x10 hour day shifts from 7 : 30 AM to 5 : 30 PMCall required one weekend per month and 1 to 2 days per weekExpect to float to other units or serve as Patient Observer (Sitter) as neededUses McKesson PACS and Cerner PowerChart, with Cerner experience preferredResponsibilities include assisting with a variety of neuro and body IR procedures across a range of acuity levelsPosition requires willingness to float throughout the facility and serve as a Patient Observer (Sitter) if needed50% holiday and 50% weekend coverage required during the contractCandidates living within 75 miles may be considered as locals at a reduced rateAnnual and orientation modules required and completed onsiteRequirements
Minimum 2 years of overall experience, with at least 1 year in interventional radiologyActive MO or Compact state license required (license required if applicable)Experience with single and biplane Siemens radiography unitsProficient in supporting neuro and body interventional radiology proceduresAbility to care for diverse population including adults, geriatrics, and pediatricsMust provide two supervisory references for considerationBenefits
