Distribution Lead

We're looking to hire a talented Distribution Lead based in Denton, Texas.
Reporting to the Distribution Supervisor, as the Distribution Lead you'll be at the center of our fast-moving logistics operationcoordinating people, processes, and product flow to ensure every shipment is accurate, efficient, and on time. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll drive performance, solve real-time challenges, and help shape a culture of accountability and excellence on the warehouse floor. With every decision, you'll directly impact customer satisfaction, team success, and the pulse of our supply chain.
Primary Duties
Shipping, Fulfillment & Material Handling
- Lead daily operations related to order fulfillment, including pulling, packing, and preparing customer shipments.
- Load outbound LTL trucks and process shipping documentation such as packing slips, bills of lading, and ship confirmations.
- Operate various types of material handling equipment including reach trucks, order pickers, dock stockers, and electric pallet jacks.
- Pick and ship hazardous materials (HAZMAT) according to proper procedures and troubleshoot related shipping issues as they arise.
- Band pallets, consolidate PIDs, and ensure all outbound materials are accurately labeled and secured for transport.
Team Leadership & Coordination
Delegate tasks, coordinate daily workflow, and serve as the point of contact for distribution team members.Communicate daily goals and expectations to associates through team meetings and shift briefings.Train and mentor new team members, reinforcing safe work practices and efficient processes.Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement on the warehouse floor.Process Improvement & Reporting
Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and other warehouse metrics to assess efficiency and output.Identify and escalate process or order fulfillment issues using product knowledge and sound judgment.Promote and ensure compliance with safety objectives and regulatory standards (e.g., FDA, UL, ISO).Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to operational excellence across the distribution team.Additional Responsibilities
Maintain a clean and organized work area and ensure all tasks comply with company policies and procedures.Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall success of the distribution center.Qualifications

Working knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)Proficient in the use of RF guns and familiarity with warehouse management systemsComfortable operating forklift equipment, including reach trucks, order pickers, dock stockers, and electric pallet jacksMust be willing and able to work at heights up to 30 feet and lift up to 60 lbs repetitivelyStrong attention to detail with a commitment to safety and regulatory complianceAbility to work independently and collaboratively within a team structureMust be flexible and available to work required overtime as business needs demandStrong track record of reliability, productivity, and a positive attitudeMinimum of 2 years of experience in heavy order fulfillment or distribution operationsPrior leadership experience in a warehouse or logistics setting is highly preferredForklift certification or experience is preferredWorking Conditions
Must wear always required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) while in the facility, including safety glasses, steel-toed shoes, and a high-visibility vest.Regularly required to lift and move equipment or materials weighing up to 50 lbs., and to push or pull loads up to 200 lbs. using appropriate safety tools and equipment.Must be comfortable operating forklifts at elevated heights, following all safety protocols.The role is physically demanding and requires being on your feet for 8 to 10 hours per shift in a fast-paced, warehouse environment.
