About the Role
We’re seeking a dynamic VP of Sales and Marketing to lead our sales organization and drive growth across all revenue channels. This strategic role combines leadership, coaching, and innovation to align our sales and marketing efforts with the company’s goals and brand identity. You'll be responsible for optimizing team performance, ensuring excellence in the customer experience, and expanding our presence in competitive markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop the sales team to achieve consistent sales targets (net of 2+ homes / month) and high customer satisfaction scores (9.0+).
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and continuous training of high-performing sales talent.
- Set performance goals and conduct regular evaluations to ensure team accountability and growth.
- Align sales strategy with marketing initiatives, product positioning, and overall company objectives.
- Partner with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Product Development, Land Acquisition, and Construction to execute go-to-market plans.
- Analyze market trends, pricing strategies, customer demographics, and competitive activity to inform strategic decisions.
- Represent the company at sales events, trade shows, Realtor functions, and community outreach initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and industry regulations, including mortgage programs and contract processes.
- Maintain high standards in sales center staffing, inventory management, CRM utilization, and overall team organization.
Qualifications
Proven leadership experience in sales and marketing within the residential homebuilding industry.Active Real Estate Broker’s License; ability to serve as Broker-In-Charge.Deep understanding of the homebuilding process from land acquisition to closings.Strong grasp of new home sales techniques and the ability to coach both new and experienced professionals.Expertise in mortgage financing programs and buyer qualification processes.Technologically adept with Microsoft Office and CRM tools.Excellent communication, organizational, and strategic planning skills.Ability to manage high volumes of work, meet tight deadlines, and adapt to change with minimal supervision.Work Schedule
Monday to Friday, with availability on weekends as business needs dictate.Standard hours : 8 : 30 AM – 5 : 00 PM, with flexibility required for events and peak periods.
