Overview

We specialize in the manufacturing of tight tolerance medium to complex aerospace components and assemblies. We are AS9100D.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize proper PPE, safety equipment, and follow safety procedures
  • Assist support functions in root cause analysis
  • Must be able to multi-task and work within deadlines
  • Proactively work to improve efficiency and quality of products
  • Use manual and automated measuring / testing equipment to assure product quality
  • Cross-train with employees as needed based upon knowledge and experience
  • Compliantly complete all written and / or electronic labor tracking documentation
  • Report problems to appropriate resource and / or Coach
  • Keep all shift operators informed on special problems involving operation or set up
  • Communicate with team to ensure all team members are aware of product deficiencies, new processes, or issues
  • Provide feedback to appropriate support functions

    • Qualifications

  • Minimum 2-5 year's experience in manufacturing / job-shop environment
  • Solid working knowledge with : blue print reading, inspection instruments, tolerancing, GD&T, etc
  • Knowledge of Mitutoyu MiStar 555 desired
  • The ability to multi-task while accurately performing in-process and final inspections on CNC manufactured parts is a must
  • Experience inspecting close tolerance parts (±.001 to ±.0005) using inspection tools such as micrometers, linear height gage, CMM, depth mics, etc
  • Perform job responsibilities according to internal process specifications and third-party requirements
  • Compliantly complete all written and / or electronic labor tracking documentation
  • Respond to problems appropriately and communicate with the team
  • Cross-train with employees as needed based upon knowledge and experience
