The opportunity
We currently have an opportunity for a Trial Attorney to join our Staff Counsel team located in Northern California on a remote schedule. The Trial Attorney provides legal representation and defense counsel for insureds before courts, arbitration panels, or other bodies and advises claim employees in their handling of litigated claim matters. Responsible for completion of caseload and trial work of some complexity, whether by settlement, trial or appeal. The Trial Attorney works to develop the skills necessary to litigate defense files independently. Some of the Trial Attorney responsibilities include but are not limited to :

Salary and benefits
Our salary ranges are determined by many factors including location, role, experience, and skillset of the candidate. The following ranges reflect the target base salary for new hires. The typical base salary range for this position is : $111,000 – $157,000, based on the factors aforementioned. For candidates located in San Francisco, CA and the New York City metro area, the base salary range is $140,000 -$164,000. In addition to base salary, full-time Intact employees are also eligible for bonus potential and a full range of benefits including :
