Structural Designer

Our AE Firm serves the Semiconductor industry locally in the Chandler Arizona area. Our projects are related to equipment installation and building modifications with industrial and commercial applications. We offer services in all disciplines of design including architectural, structural, mechanical, process piping, chemical, electrical, I&C and telecom.

We are looking to fill the role of structural designer in support of our ongoing projects. We are looking for the structural designer to lead projects with the help of their senior engineer. In the best of cases the designer will be experienced and / or a EIT looking to develop into a Professional stamping engineer. The candidate who is hired would create, modify and assist in :

• Construction Documents : This includes creating structural, plans, sections, elevations, and detailing (i.e. connection details for supports, masonry walls, steel platforms, pipe trestles, and racking.)
• Revit / AutoCAD models containing accurate structural elements to create construction documents from. To be used in model coordination with other disciplines or fabrication prelims.
• Field work as directed by a Senior Engineer
• Post design process : RFI, submittals and per-bid purchasing approvals

This is a full-time, long-term position. Our primary work sites are both in Chandler Arizona and the structural designer position will be based in an office at one of these two locations. Occasional travel between the two sites while on company time may be required.

Please note : we are not looking for out of country / outsourced support or remote workers of any kind. This opening is for local candidates residing in the metro phoenix area or those willing to self-relocate to this area only.
