Responsibilities :
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for individuals with developmental disabilities, specifically autism spectrum disorder
- Implement evidence-based interventions based on the principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA)
- Provide direct behavioral therapy services to clients, including behavior reduction and skill acquisition programs
- Collect and analyze data to monitor progress and make data-driven decisions
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated care for clients
- Provide training and support to caregivers and other team members
- Maintain accurate and confidential medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations
Qualifications :
Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification requiredExperience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly autism spectrum disorderKnowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and techniquesFamiliarity with behavioral health practices and terminologyStrong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively work with clients, families, and team membersAbility to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environmentExcellent problem-solving and decision-making skillsPreferred Skills :
Experience working with children with autism spectrum disorderProficiency in data collection and analysis methodsUnderstanding of medical terminology related to developmental disabilitiesNote : This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position.
