Lead, Operations (Weekend Shift)

Schedule : Friday - Sunday; 5a - 5 : 30p

Pay : $18.95 / hr + 6.25% Shift Differential ($20.13 / hr)

How You Will Make a Difference

Under the general direction of the shift supervisor, this person will be an active leader for employees. The Distribution lead will assist the supervisor in the execution of facility operations to meet production within their department to reach operational goals.

What You Will Do

Leading, communicating, coaching, and motivating individuals and the shift team to meet and / or exceed day-to-day quality, efficiency, and organizations objectives.

How You Will Do It

By monitoring and assisting associates performing a variety of duties related to warehousing, transportation, safety and inventory functions in the warehouse.

What Success Looks Like

Follows all company safety, attendance, and security procedures to ensure the team reaches the daily objectives.

Skills for Success

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of two years related production, warehouse and / or distribution center experience
• Prior experience directing workflow preferred
• Ability to interact well with all levels of employees
• Detailed oriented, organized, and effective at time management
• Must be able to provide direction and guidance to employees
• Demonstrated ability to work with minimal direction
• Excellent oral / written communication skills in English
• Bilingual fluency in Spanish, preferred
• Computer knowledge and experience using RF scanners
• Must have the ability to lift items up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to work overtime and on opposing shifts as assigned; may be called on off hours for emergency consultation or call-in service
• Ability to stand for entire shift and walk around the warehouse

Hiring Range : $18.00 USD - $22.50 USD per hour

Incentive Potential : This position is eligible for additional compensation awards that may include an annual incentive plan, sales incentive, or commission potential.
