Machinery Diagnostics Field Engineer – Baker Hughes Bently Nevada

Partner with the best. Baker Hughes Bently Nevada offers a plant-wide, holistic suite of machine condition monitoring and protection hardware, software and services to support asset reliability across Oil & Gas, power generation and other process industries.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose machinery problems based on vibration data, operational data, and customer communications.
• Travel to customer sites as required, bringing all necessary diagnostic equipment.
• Complete documentation of findings and recommendations.
• Engage in professional communications with customers and other team members.
• Determine and direct placement of balance weights.
• Perform Asset Management / Reliability Service Studies.
• Prepare timely work order requests, quick quotes, and invoicing packages.
• Assess job site safety and understand trade commitments.
• Install transducers and configure monitoring systems.
• Complete alignment using Reverse Dial, Laser and Optical Methodologies.
