Design Engineer, Lebanon, TN. Support new power wheelchair product development

by coordinating work across functional teams to define the product design

requirements and ensure these requirements are satisfied; develop and make

tooling, test fixtures / equipment and prototypes for product development; manage

development projects by providing project planning. Must possess master's

degree in mechanical engineering or biomedical engineering plus 5 years

progressively responsible work experience as an engineer in mechanical product

design and new product development; Finite Element Analysis (FEA), CAD

(SolidWorks / CATIA), GD&T, and Tolerance Stack-Up Analysis; DFMEA, Design of

experiments, and DFM principles; manufacturing processes, including sheet metal

fabrication, machining, injection molding, and casting; stage-gate product

development process; and collaborating with overseas suppliers to resolve

technical issues related to tooling, ensuring quality, efficiency, and seamless

Your Background

Master's degree in mechanical engineering or biomedical engineering
