Attorney needed for Tampa office

A well-regarded personal injury and civil litigation law firm based in Tampa, Florida is seeking a full-time Attorney to join its growing legal team. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a dedicated legal professional to manage client matters involving negotiation, litigation, legal research, and document preparation. The position requires an attorney who is detail-oriented, communicative, and capable of working independently and collaboratively on a variety of personal injury and civil litigation matters.

Duties

Negotiate settlements and legal outcomes on behalf of clients

Conduct legal research using Lexis-Nexis and Westlaw to support case strategy

Draft and review legal documents including pleadings, contracts, and agreements

Represent clients in court proceedings and other legal forums

Provide legal counsel and guidance to clients throughout the litigation process

Attend client meetings, including in-person consultations for pre-suit matters

Supervise and collaborate with legal assistants and support staff

Requirements

Prior experience in personal injury or civil litigation law

Proven ability to manage case files and conduct legal research

Experience negotiating settlements and representing clients in court

Strong leadership and case management skills

Commitment to client service and legal ethics

Education

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications

Active license to practice law in the state of Florida
