Lead Maintenance Technician (Finance)

TransCore (TRN), a subsidiary of ST Engineering, is seeking a full time Maintenance Lead Technician to join our team in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Job Summary : Maintenance Lead Technician performs on-site or in-house servicing, repair and / or replacement of company product(s). This job may include any aspect of field support including : hardware and software troubleshooting and repair / replace of electronic toll collection equipment, systems, and wiring; upgrades, modifications, programming; preventive and corrective maintenance actions; documentation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Repairs / replace equipment including but not limited to cameras, detectors, controller cabinets.
• Connects and configures equipment to make equipment work correctly.
• Troubleshoots equipment including but not limited to cameras, detectors, controller cabinets.
• Tests devices to ensure they work correctly.
• Prepares logs to keep track of field conditions and installation activities.
• Coordinates and manages subcontractors
• Supervise / mentors / trains less experienced technicians.
• Trains, mentors, and provides direction to less senior technicians.
• Responds to corrective maintenance requests within an acceptable time frame.
• Completes paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
• Completes reports, logs and performs shift-to-shift communications in accordance with established policies, procedures and local practices.

Education : Associates degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Salary Range : $42.00 to $62.00 hourly, based upon experience.
