We are looking for a Software and Controls Engineer who will work on automating and upgrading our existing hot fire and facility infrastructures, instrumentation and controls, as well as support day-to-day test operations in this role. The candidate will also maintain and modernize proprietary software used in post-test data reduction and analysis.

To be considered for this position, here's what you'll need to bring with you :

• Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline with 1-5 years of experience. Preferred Software, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related technical discipline.
• Proficiency at Object Oriented Programming languages such as C++, C#, python, etc.
• Experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) implementing them into new designs as well as maintaining / troubleshooting existing hardware.
• Experience working with JIRA, or similar management tools, and source control software such as GitHub, TortoiseSVN, or equivalent.
• Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems such as electro-pneumatic valves, vacuum systems, process monitoring instrumentation, pumping systems, or equivalent.
• Experience using data acquisition hardware such as LabVIEW, cDAQ, DEWEsoft, or equivalent. The ability to read and modify LabVIEW code is a plus.
• Ability to read and understand applicable drawings including mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).
• Strong communication skills. This role will interface heavily with skilled technicians, facilities team, and engineering.

Salary Range Transparency : Niagara Falls, NY $75,000.00$105,000.00 Annually

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Moog salary range for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, employee stock purchase plan, an open paid time off policy, and many region-specific benefits.
