Security Officer - Aerospace Site Patrol

As a Security Officer - Aerospace Site Patrol in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero / Defense, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. You will conduct routine patrols, interact with employees and visitors, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for operating a vehicle as part of your patrol duties. Pay Rate : $16.64 / Hour

Job Schedule : DayTime

Mon 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM

Tue 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM

Wed 11 : 00 PM - 07 : 00 AM

Fri 07 : 00 AM - 03 : 00 PM

Sat 07 : 00 AM - 03 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and / or suspicious behavior.
  • Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activities to Allied Universal management and / or client representatives as appropriate.
  • Assist visitors and employees with inquiries and directions while maintaining a professional presence.
  • Support access control procedures by monitoring entry and exit points as required by site-specific guidelines.
  • Complete detailed and accurate reports on incidents, patrols, and other security-related activities as directed.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Possess a valid guard card or license, if required by state or local regulations. Guard card or license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Experience with access control and / or badge systems is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
