FTE : Full Time, 1.0, 80.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)

Shift : Days

Pay : $22.54 - $33.81 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience

Summary :

Under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, treats patient population for therapy needs.

Responsibilities :

• Implements treatment plan developed by supervising therapist using appropriate modalities. Seeks consultation as necessary.
• Monitors patient's responses to the treatment plan. Regularly communicates patient progress and possible goal revisions to the physical therapist. Documents services provided and patient response / progress.
• Educates the patient and family / caregiver about patient deficits and providing information regarding appropriate selection / use of adaptive equipment and community support programs. Assists with patient discharge planning.
• Performs all underlying duties of the job including but not limited to supervising support personnel according to established licensing laws, state regulations and practice standards.
• Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.

Requirements :

State licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
