Job Summary
The Business Development Director will be responsible for identifying and cultivating new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and driving revenue growth for RiverBend Consulting. This role will work closely with executive leadership, sales, marketing, and operations teams to ensure alignment of initiatives and the achievement of business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning & Market Analysis
- Develop and implement business development strategies aligned with company objectives.
- Conduct in-depth market research to identify emerging trends, opportunities, and competitor activities.
- Utilize data and analytics to optimize business development efforts and adjust strategies accordingly.
Client Acquisition & Relationship Management
Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities.Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders, including hospitals, case managers, physicians, assisted living communities, and home health agencies.Collaborate with leadership to design service line expansions, specialty programs, and community initiatives.Team Leadership & Collaboration
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of business development professionals.Foster a culture of teamwork, innovation, and accountability.Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure seamless execution of business strategies.Revenue Growth & Performance Tracking
Drive revenue growth by expanding client base and strengthening referral relationships.Monitor KPIs and prepare regular reports on business development performance.Adjust strategies proactively to meet and exceed financial targets.Qualifications
Proven experience in business development, sales, or related roles, preferably in consulting or healthcare industries.Strong knowledge of market dynamics and analytical capabilities.Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.Demonstrated leadership and team development experience.Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.Why RiverBend Consulting?
