Description :

El Trabajador de Yarda es responsable de apoyar todas las operaciones de la yarda y carga, incluyendo la inspección, limpieza, manejo, aseguramiento y carga de vehículos en contenedores. El rol implica operar montacargas y camiones de yarda, asistir en la gestión de papelería y mantener un ambiente de trabajo limpio, organizado y seguro. El Trabajador de yarda desempeña un papel clave en la preparación de envíos para exportación a múltiples países y asegura que la carga se maneje de acuerdo con los estándares de la empresa e internacionales.

Responsabilidades

  • Cargar y descargar vehículos y carga general utilizando montacargas o manualmente.
  • Mover, conducir y posicionar vehículos para su carga en contenedores.
  • Realizar inspecciones visuales de vehículos para verificar daños, limpieza y preparación.
  • Asegurar los vehículos adecuadamente dentro de los contenedores.
  • Recibir, verificar y gestionar la papelería de envío relacionada con las actividades de carga.
  • Mantener un entorno de patio limpio, organizado y conforme a las normativas de OSHA.
  • Reportar daños, peligros o prácticas inseguras de inmediato.
  • Apoyar al equipo de Envíos y Recepciones para asegurar una carga oportuna y sin daños.
  • Participar en sesiones de capacitación e iniciativas de mejora continua.
  • Realizar otras tareas asignadas por el Supervisor de Operaciones.

Requirements : Requisitos

  • No se requiere experiencia previa, pero se valorará experiencia en patios de vehículos, almacenes o envío.
  • Fuertes habilidades organizativas y capacidad para realizar múltiples tareas.
  • Capacidad para trabajar al aire libre durante todo el año en diversas condiciones climáticas.
  • Resistencia física para estar de pie, caminar, levantar y agacharse.
  • Conocimientos básicos de computadoras y dispositivos móviles.
