Energy Engineer II

The Energy Engineer II will perform all aspects of facility surveys, commissioning studies, energy analysis and energy modeling as part of an energy consulting team. The successful candidate will work with associates and management to pursue and execute engineering and technical projects involving the analysis, verification, design, and implementation of energy efficiency and renewable energy projects.

Responsibilities

• Work with engineering staff to conduct level I, II, III energy audits per ASHRAE standards as well as whole-building energy modeling of multiple asset types
• Conduct feasibility analyses of renewable energy generation projects for real estate applications
• Write, review, and edit technical reports
• Perform field inspections and observe / perform functional performance tests
• Project Management : Begin to manage a small portfolio of projects on time, on budget, and with technical proficiency; Ensure the technical quality, accuracy, and managerial aspects of projects; Plan project activities, update project forecasts, and maintain accurate records of project milestones
• Maintain target utilization rate
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures and company mission, vision and values
• Timely response to client e-mail and phone messages
• Work effectively with both internal project teams and external clients

Compensation :

Salary range is $80,000 - $115,000
