job_description.job_card.job_descriptionWarm and on‑brand customer communication across emails, calls and ad hoc in‑person work. Maintain a professional, warm, welcoming office environment. Answer all inbound calls to the VIP Alterations department. Manage all client bookings and appointments for VIP clientele. Thoughtful interaction with each client. Collect, organize, and track consumer feedback, day to day issues and other relevant information and communicate this to the team. Connect thoughtfully with our VIP clientele and develop individual strategies to nurture these important relationships. Contribute ideas to company policies to create an even better customer experience. Engage in frequent collaboration with the Tailor Shop Manager of your alts studio in order to assess studio needs and day to day operations. Ensure that all QC checkpoints that live with front operations are consistently met for each garment entering or leaving your studio. Ensure all garments are racked in accordance to alts’ standardized racking system. Ensure all tickets are properly created, and processed throughout the garment’s life cycle with Alteration Specialists. Responsible for monitoring production. Ensure all garments are bagged and packaged appropriately before handing off to customer, this includes garments being shipped properly. Properly record and document all RFA’s, refunds and other failures of process, and brainstorm written solutions to achieve a higher operational efficiency. Coordinate, organize, schedule and manage these expert tailoring and alterations during in‑home or in‑office appointments with your Tailor Shop Manager. Ensure high‑quality finishes and client satisfaction through strong customer service skills and communication. Coordinate logistics to meet and exceed deadlines. Maintain professionalism and represent the Alts brand with excellence in every interaction. You are adaptable and resourceful. You enjoy finding creative solutions to challenges, always thinking on your feet to meet both team and client needs. You are a strong problem solver. Whether it’s a small issue or a more complex concern, you approach every challenge with a calm, methodical mindset and a commitment to resolving it promptly. You are customer‑centric. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, or a related field; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. Proven track record of success in retail operations management, preferably in the fashion or apparel industry. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams and external partners. Knowledge of inventory management principles and experience in managing inventory levels, stocking, and merchandising. Must be able to lift packages up to 40lbs. Familiarity with alterations processes and experience coordinating alterations services for clients. Proficiency in G‑Suite and familiarity with retail management software is preferred. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Alts | Alteration Specialists is looking for a dynamic and service‑driven VIP Studio Experience Coordinator to join our New York team. This full‑time, in‑person role is ideal for a professional who brings charisma, attention to detail, and operational excellence to everything they do.
As the VIP Studio Experience Coordinator, you will be at the heart of the VIP customer’s journey, responsible for ensuring smooth day‑to‑day operations while delivering exceptional service to our VIP clientele. Your responsibilities will include managing client communications via phone and email, overseeing bookings and garment processing, coordinating mobile fittings, and supporting both internal and external communications. You will also serve as the bridge that helps drive efficiency, elevate the client experience, and resolve issues with professionalism and creativity.
Alterations Management :
- Oversee all LABEL and Alts VIP alteration requests, processing over 100 garments per month with an estimated value of $25k in alterations.
- Act as the liaison between clothiers and tailoring teams to ensure precise execution of alteration requests.
- Act as the liaison between Alts production center and Alts VIP Tailor Shop Manager to ensure precise execution of alterations requests.
- Monitor and manage alteration timelines, outsourcing garments as needed to meet deadlines.
- Conduct garment district runs 2‑3 times per week for sourcing buttons, zippers, and other necessary materials.
- Perform final QC on completed alterations, check garments into CRM, and notify clothiers and / or clients accordingly.

This is an entry level role and reports to the local Studio Area Manager at alts.

Compensation :
