Overview
Bushway Law Firm, a fast-paced, highly reputable criminal defense firm, seeks a mid-level Associate Attorney to join our team in Macon, Georgia.
The ideal candidate will independently maintain a busy caseload ranging from misdemeanors to low and mid-level felonies with minimal supervision. The candidate will also provide support to senior attorneys on high-level state and federal felony cases, with the opportunity to grow into handling high-level felony cases over time.
Responsibilities
- Independently handle caseload and supervise assigned paralegal to ensure outstanding client service
- Maintain meticulous file notes and provide frequent updates to supervising attorneys
- Attend District and Superior Court sessions as directed; travel to various counties required
- Draft and file motions for assigned cases
