The Role We're seeking an Outside Sales Representative to join our Houston, Texas operations. I n this high-i mpact role, yo u'll be responsible for selling pumps, filtration systems, and fluid-handling equipment , managing a defined territory, and building long-term client relationships. If you have experience in equipment rentals and thrive in a fast-paced, relationship-driv en sales environment, this role is for you.

Prospect and close new business while expanding existing customer accountsPromote CPE's rental equipment-including pumps and filtration systems-to commercial, industrial, and municipal clientsManage the full sales cycle : cold calling, quoting, site visits, presentations, and contract negotiationConduct weekly equipment demos (Tow-n-Shows) and monthly customer Lunch & LearnsProvide consistent follow-up, weekly sales reporting, and active call trackingHost and participate in sales blitzes focused on target accounts and territoriesStay active in trade associations and attend monthly networking events and trade showsSupport after-hours / emergency sales calls to ensure customer satisfaction and uptimeCoordinate with internal stakeholders including branch managers and operations teamsMaintain a well-branded company vehicle stocked with up-to-date sales collateralWhat You'll Bring as an Outside Sales Representative
High school diploma or GED required ; bachelor's degree in Business , Sales, or a related field preferred5+ years of B2B sales experience in rental equipment, industrial services, or construction equipmentSp ecific experience selling pumps, filtration systems, or related equipment is strongly preferredStrong consultative sales and relationship management skillsProven ability to meet and exceed revenue targetsProficient in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft OfficeValid driver's license with a clean driving recordSelf-motivated, organized, and able to manage a territory independentlyReady to Apply?
