About the Job
The Brand Marketing Manager is responsible for supporting the strategic development and execution of Taco Bell's Value strategy in close collaboration with internal cross-functional teams and external partners. This role will help shape the product strategy, define brand positioning, and support communications development for key Value platforms. The goal is to unlock step-change growth by identifying and activating incremental occasions for the brand.
The Day-to-Day :
- Drive long-term brand transformation, incremental transactions and same store sales growth via innovative and consumer-centric marketing & product innovation :
- Lead creative and idea brief development to align internal creatives and external agencies to deliver bold work that will step-change growth for the business
- Manage and inspire agency partners to develop compelling and engaging consumer communications, from briefing to creative development and launch
- Partner with Product Marketing team to design product comms briefs that are anchored in breakthrough consumer insights, supported by clear and concise product benefits / RTBs
- Develop cross-functional relationships to facilitate alignment discussions to progress key workstreams and projects, including but not limited to program development briefs, creative development and launch plan.
- Lead strategic alignment & project management across Comms, Food Innovation, Operations and beyond to strengthen the 2026 pipeline and build for 2027.
- Partner with cross-functional teams, including Public Relations, Digital, Social, Media to develop robust, multi-channel activation that effectively engages target consumers
- Provide onboarding, ongoing training and effective coaching to Direct Report(s)
- Coach direct report(s) to support on all actions and lead key "calls for work" briefings to finalize creative and digital tactics across teams internally / externally based off idea developed.
Is This You?
Bachelor's Degree requiredMinimum 8+ years of relevant experience including 3 years' experience in Brand Marketing, Product Marketing, and / or Strategic Planning roles (CPG, Agency, or QSR preferred)3+ Years in a management / leadership roleAn innovative capability and drive to think outside the box to create strategy initiatives which elevate the brands as well as promote our productsExperience in multi-channel retail industry and / or franchised business a plusStrong strategic thinking and storytelling abilities to drive food comms agenda throughout the organizationExperience working with cross functional teams and agency partners to create multi-channel marketing campaignsStrong influence and collaboration skills are a must to navigate a highly matrixed organizationDemonstrated leadership, project management, and planning skillsSelf-motivated with a strong drive for results and intellectual curiosityWork-Hard, Play-Hard :
