• Work 3x12 day shifts from 6 : 45 AM to 7 : 15 PM
• Weekly guaranteed hours : 36
• No call requirements
• Nevada RN license required prior to start
• Required certifications : BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
• Minimum 2 years of IMC / Stepdown experience required
• Medical / Neuro ICU experience preferred
• Must have experience with vasopressors, titratable drips, art lines, neuro-stepdown patients, procedural sedation, thrombolytics, and trach management
• IMCU travelers must pass an ECG / Telemetry exam including reading / interpreting rhythm strips - failure results in contract termination
• May be required to float to other units based on competency level
• May be required to work major holidays and pick up one additional shift during schedule period
• Must work 2 of the 3 major holidays (Eve Day = 1 holiday)
• Schedule varies based on department needs and can include weekends, holidays, and some call shifts
• Provide care for 18-bed intermediate care unit focusing on severe but non-life threatening conditions
• Care for patients with post ischemic / hemorrhagic stroke, sepsis, cardiac, and respiratory conditions
