NETWORK ADMINISTRATOR
DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
The Network Administrator works under the direction of the Sr. Network Administrator and Director of Information Technology Infrastructure and Operations.
The Network Administrator will work with IT and Netcom Teams to provide the following services to the organization :
Monitors and test network performance and prepares statistical reports.
Maintains network and telecommunications component inventory and related documentation of technical specifications.
QUALIFICATIONS
Professional / Educational
Bachelor's degree preferred, with coursework in Data Networks, Data Security, Computer Science, Telecommunications, electronics, business administration, or related field. Additional years of relevant experience above the minimum will be considered in lieu of the required education, on a year-for-year basis.
Three plus years of healthcare experience preferred.
Experience with configuring network gear, wireless infrastructure, and collaboration systems.
Experience with Cisco networks required.
At least 1 of the following certifications : CCNA, CompTIA Network+
Experience working with network and communication vendors preferred.
Project management experience a plus.
Actual pay will be determined by qualifications, experience, and internal equity.
