job_description.job_card.job_descriptionManage financials; process change events, COs, and PCOs in Procore. Review submittals; support scope coordination and schedule updates. Contribute to and lead meetings; resolve issues with PM support. Maintain drawings / specs; manage submittals and long-lead items. Draft / manage RFIs; track responses and communicate impacts. Maintain procurement log; track deliveries and lead times. Support QC meetings; verify material compliance and installation. Assist with meeting prep, pull planning, change tracking, and scheduling. Provide general support to PM and Superintendent. Manage closeout submittals and punch list documentation. Attend networking events; build industry relationships. 3-5+ years of construction management experience on commercial construction projects Bachelors degree in construction science, construction management, or similar Flexible schedule, including weekends Willing to travel or relocate based on project needs Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions Able to navigate active jobsites (stairs, scaffolding, ladders, etc.) Physically capable of kneeling, standing, squatting, and bending Builds positive, professional relationships across all levels Works independently with strong problem-solving skills Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with Procore preferred Familiar with construction documents (plans, specs, submittals, etc.) Knowledge of local safety, health, and quality standards Understanding of OSHA requirements and site visit protocols
The Assistant Project Manager (APM) role is a project management position that requires on-site work. This position provides leadership to project teams and assists in decision-making that impacts project outcomes. The APMs primary duty is to ensure that the work is performed safely and organized, complying with the quality program and the initial specifications. An APMs job is to guarantee Butler-Cohens commitment to building the right way and by the most cost-effective means while maintaining or improving the schedule and client relations.
