Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our team. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime. This position requires expertise in PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) troubleshooting and programming, along with strong electrical, mechanical, welding, and fabrication skills.
The role also includes planning and executing preventive maintenance activities, managing MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Operations) supplies, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical abilities, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite .
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, and PLC issues on production equipment and machinery.
- Follow and implement established maintenance plans and schedules.
- Conduct preventive maintenance to minimize equipment downtime and extend operational life.
- Fabricate, weld, and modify components as necessary to support production needs.
- Manage and maintain an inventory of spare parts and MRO supplies.
- Keep accurate and up-to-date records of maintenance activities and equipment repairs.
- Collaborate and assist senior maintenance technicians and other team members as needed.
- Comply with all company safety policies and environmental regulations.
- Perform additional maintenance duties and special projects as assigned.
Requirements
High School Diploma or GED required; technical training or certification in electrical, mechanical, or related field preferred.Minimum of 2 years of experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance.Proficient in PLC programming and troubleshooting .Strong electrical and mechanical skills.Experience with welding and fabrication .Working knowledge of MRO processes and inventory management.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics .Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite .Must be able to train for 2 weeks, Monday through Friday, from 6 : 00 AM to 6 : 00 PM.IND2
