We’re seeking a Production Supervisor to help lead daily operations and support a strong, safety-focused team. You’ll work alongside other supervisors to ensure production runs smoothly, meet quality goals, and uphold the cooperative’s values.
Key Responsibilities
Communicate clear performance expectations and provide timely feedback, coaching, and training.
Work collaboratively with other supervisors to support production team members.
Coordinate staff schedules to meet production requirements and approve employee timecards.
Use ERP software for basic reporting, product transfers, and printing Bill of Ladings (BOLs).
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and fair employment practices.
Oversee accurate recordkeeping and documentation of production activities.
Promote and maintain Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and other quality and safety standards.
Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
Partner with other supervisors to plan, adjust, and monitor production schedules.
Qualifications
Minimum of three years’ experience in a food production or manufacturing facility (preferred).
Prior supervisory experience strongly preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Organized, detail-oriented, and motivated to continuously learn.
Strong ability to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities.
Understanding of machine operations and Good Manufacturing Practices.
Knowledge of sanitation chemicals and safe handling practices.
Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook and Excel .
Proven ability to provide accountability, feedback, and team support.
Ability to handle confidential information appropriately.
