Redmond Kirkland Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced Lead Veterinary Client Service Representative to join our team!
Compensation is negotiable based on credentials and experience with a hourly pay rate starting at $23-$26 / hour. The actual rate offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
- Experience in veterinary hospital setting required along with at least 1 year Manager experience.

Projected Schedule : Monday / Tuesday / Thursday / Friday 8am-5pm.
Primary Responsibilities :
The purpose of this position is to assist the Practice Manager in executing the daily hospital business activities. This position ensures a positive work environment while maintaining client satisfaction. Tasks include, but are not limited to, accounts maintenance, cash processing, procurement of administrative supplies and equipment, mail service, and word processing.Must be able to withstand unpleasant odors and noises. May be exposed to bites, scratches, animal waste, and contagious diseases.Makes informal recommendations to the Practice Manager concerning personnel matters, such as staffing needs, advancement, re-assignments, work hours, or other status changes.Directs on-the-job training to develop CSR Team member skills, those requirements and discusses corrective measures to improve performance.Explains to staff the general nature of and basis for hospital personnel policies and procedures.Assists in the resolution of staff issues. Trains staff in conflict resolution techniques.Assists team leaders with biannual performance reviews. Helps staff set goals and strategies to achieve those goals.Facilitate resolution of client problems and complaints that veterinarians or other staff cannot resolve.Assists the Practice Manager with developing new ways to attract and maintain clients.Uses product knowledge and sales abilities to sell products to clients. Explains and demonstrates products and answers questions concerning products.Recognizes non-routine or unusual situations and refers to the Practice Manager, along with recommended solutions.Assists the Practice Manager with the development and implementation of new protocols and / or procedures.Assists the Practice Manager with planning and organizing all personnel activities, including goal parties, staff appreciation parties, and holiday parties.Promotes a cooperative working environment among staff members. Understands the value of teamwork. Shows enthusiasm and a willingness to perform as necessary to help the hospital function as a unit. Spends most of the time on the floor and remains easily accessible to staff and clients.Acts as back-up to the Practice Manager and performs additional duties when necessary, such as correcting the time clock, resolving billing conflicts, and completing and submitting reports.Prioritizes tasks and handles multiple tasks in a calm, organized manner.Attends departmental and staff meetings.Requirements
At least one year of recent experience in an office manager or other management position.Ability to complete assigned tasks in the time allotted without direct supervision.Demonstrated ability to show empathy toward clients and treat animals with respect and compassion.Excellent interpersonal communication skills.A commitment to outstanding client service.Ability to lift objects weighing 40 pounds without assistance and objects weighing more than 40 pounds with assistance.Ability to tactfully demonstrate “take-charge” capabilities.Competence in problem-solving and conflict resolution.Sound judgment in selecting methods to complete tasks, establish priorities, and draw conclusions.Ability to adapt to and operate effectively in different roles with a variety of people, inside and outside the hospital.Obvious leadership qualities and supervisory abilities; successful supervisory experience.Join us and provide your best care at a clinic that is deeply rooted within its community and bolstered by the resources of Thrive Pet Healthcare.
