Installation Support Specialist

The company is seeking an experienced Installation Support Specialist to develop and execute installation plans for complex automation systems, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time project delivery.
The Installation Support Specialist will be responsible for the following day-to-day activities :
- Ensure and promote a safe working environment by conducting safety reviews and presenting installation project plans to the Safety Team for approval.
- Develop and maintain installation business processes, including process mapping and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Analyze operational workflows and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and project delivery.
- Collaborate with the Sales team to prepare detailed installation proposals, including budgets, schedules, specialized tools, procedures, and logistics plans.
- Forecast, request, and manage project resource assignments to meet project timelines.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for installation projects, managing scope changes, schedule updates, resource forecasting, logistics, and procurement adjustments as needed.
- Create and maintain accurate installation project forecasts and ensure timely updates for internal stakeholders.
- Support the Procurement team in identifying, qualifying, and selecting installation contractors and suppliers.
- Participate in project and procurement lessons-learned meetings to capture insights for future improvements.
- Compile project performance data and provide executive-level reporting for senior management.
- Collaborate with the Project Management Office and site installation teams to ensure successful, on-time, and high-quality project execution.
The Installation Support Specialist will have the following experience :
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering OR equivalent combination of education and experience.Minimum 5 years of experience in semiconductor automation or related industry.Strong site / project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.Mechanical and electrical background with experience in systems such as stockers, conveyors, AGVs, and / or OHT systems.Proficiency in Microsoft Project is a must.Ability to read and interpret equipment drawings and identify components through technical documentation.Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a continuous improvement mindset.Safety-oriented and able to lead teams in maintaining compliance standards.Must successfully complete Level III skill set training and demonstrate ability to apply advanced system support knowledge.Must be willing to travel up to 50% as needed including international assignmentsThe Installation Support Specialist will be rewarded with :
